Evidence of military forces in China playing what they called Tsu Chu. Similar to soccer, kicking a small leather ball full of fur into a small hole.

The first games

Games of football were played in Britain between them and East England. One twist to this was that there was no leather ball, but the head of a Danish prince that Britain had just defeated in a war. These games were very violent, injury was common as was death.

The FA (football association) was created in London, England. Soccer had been played a little before, but nothing competitive.
