Skateboarding began i the 1950´s. Mellow surfers got a great idea and they began to surf on the streets. nobody knows ho made the first skateboard, but soon everybody were skateboarding.

The first skateboarding boom was invented in 1963. Many skaters was bored and started to built their own ramps.

every year will there be held a contest in Copenhagen. The event is mostly for pro´s, but amateur´s can also join.
