    christian armies called crusades began in 1905. "The history of the Jews and the crusades became a part of the history of antisemitism for the Jews in the Middle Ages." Jews fought along with Muslims to defend their holy land of crusaders.This caused conflict against Christians and Jews.

    Johann De Wettre

    johann de wettre was a knife maker, she was condemned to sodomy. she was executed for homosexuality in Europe but it wasn't the first execution for sodomy. Christians did not accept same sex, "de Wettre’s stake is a landmark for Christendom’s emerging conception of same-sex desire as not only a capital crime, but a downright existential threat." in a way of an act towards sodomy they decided to execute johann.

    Knights Templar

    "the Knights Templar was a Catholic military order recognized in 1139" it was active up to 1312. they were soldiers of Christ. their purpose was to protect Christians traveling to Jerusalem. when Muslims took over Jerusalem it forced them to move their base and by 1307 they were arrested and not long after all were burned at the stake.

    the black death

    in 1348 a plague known as "The Black Death" broke out causing serious attacks on Jewish communities. the Jews were blamed for the plague. assumptions were made to that the Jews were responsible for this "....by deliberately poisoning wells." this killed at most half the population in Europe.

    The Egyptians Act

    in 1530 some people known as "gypsies" claimed themselves as Egyptians. Egyptians called them "outlandish people" who were accused "..of using crafty and subtle devices to deceive people". in a act of rebellion they failed to take action against gypsies. They became corrupt to gypsies.

    Cum Nimis Absurdum

    July 1555, Pope Paul IV gave a speech claiming Jews should be condemned to slavery. Even after the speech Jews were restricted limits to what they could do. the Jews were segregated into the ghetto creating dehumanization on Jews giving them no rights or equality.
