Shacklton and 5 other men arive on South Georgia Island after traveling in one of their lifeboats for more than 2 weeks. This is the falling action.

Perce Blackburrow's toes are amputated from frostbite.

After 4 tries, Shackleton finally rescues all of his men on the tugboat Yelcho.
