    Buying Alaska
This was a very big deal as well. William Seward was trying to get congress and the U.S to buy Alaska. They didnt want it because they said it was just a money pit or Seward ice box. • The Election of 1912

    The Election of 1912
The Election of 1912 may be the most historic and that why i picked it. In this election it was kinda like having two people running under the Republican party. Teddy wanted back in office and so did taft will taft got to be the Republican canidate so then Teddy made his own party called the bull and moose party. So the Republican people voted for two different people. Well then the democrats only had one person to vote for and so Woodrow Wilson won the office.d
  • Seventeenth amendment

    Seventeenth amendment
The 17th Amendment gave to power back to the people. It let the people of each state pick there Senators. Before the 17th Amendment the state legislature would pick who they wanted the senators to be. I picked this because it was a big change for the us. Mexico officially Rejected it after the U.S joined the war.
  • Main Causes of WW1

    Main Causes of WW1
The biggest Cause by far would have to be the U-boat Stinking all the British or American Ships. The British made a Blockade so at the Germany coast so they couldnt get ships in and out for food. So the Germany got mad and Started stinking British ships with there U-boats but the ships had Americans on them so thats why we were so mad. So we had to declare war on Germany to try and stop them from killing anymore of our people!

    Nineteenth Amendment
The Nineteenth Amendment was a very big deal. Still today people talk about when woman could and couldnt vote will this Amendment made it so it was against the law to not let someone vote because of there sex.
