    Two teacher leaders selected to serve as on-site coaches/trainers/ advocates for using iPads to provide engaging learning experiences in classrooms.
  • iPad Professional Development

    Distribute iPads. Train teachers and administrators on use of iPad and how to find, evaluate, purchase and install applications.
  • Investigate, select, install next generation wireless Network capable of accommodating 1-to-1 iPad iinitiative

    Director of Technology will make recommendation based on technology committee input. Board approval needed.
  • iPad Implementation for SBAC Phase I

    25% of students taking Common Core Assessments will use iPads to practice performance based activities and complete SBAC or similar computer adaptive testing.
  • Project Based Learning Professional Development 6-8

    In preparation to begin middle school technology academies, teachers will be introduce to Project Based Learning using Digital Technology to promote inquiry based learning through which students access current on line primary resources, become self-directed and accountable through an online portal.
  • iPad Roll Out Phase I

    All teachers will have a dedicated teacher iPad for instructional delivery. 25% of K-5 classrooms will have learning centers with 6-8 iPads for student use. Access to mobile carts of 36 iPads ( 1 cart per every 20 full-time teachers) will be available at the seconday level.

    Mentors will provide ongoing orinentation and training on the use of SMART board interactive whiteboards, document cameras and student response clickers.
