The Declaration of Independence
The founding fathers decided that we needed to be separated from the King of England’s rule over us. They started to write the Declaration of Independence. The King accepted that they wanted independence but they needed to fight for it. That started the revolutionary war. After we won the war we became our own nation. Every nation needs some type of foundation to built off of and this was our founadation. -
Signing of the U.S. Constitution
To guarantee all the rights that a citizen of the United States it was the second form of government. The first form of government was the Articles of Confederation it was almost a complete failure other than dividing the western land. This new form of government divides power of government good. It was important to our hisory because without this we would not have survived the begining of the formation of the United States. -
Indian Removal Act
The Indian Removal Act was made and passed during the precidency of Andrew Jackson. The Indians were forced out of te south where they were living. If that wouldn't have happend we might of never moved west and evolved. -
James W. Marshall Strikes Gold in California
James Marshall was the first to strike gold in California. After he struck gold a lot of people followed his footsteps. If he wouldn't have struck gold we would not have gotten the teritory of California to beome a state as fast. The introduction of California made the United States bigger. -

Civil war
The Southren states wanted to keep slavery so one by one they left the union. The union wanted the south back and they went to war. The war lasted a little under five years the war. During the course of the war they lost slavery. The war ended when General Lee of the South serendered in a town called Apponomax Court house. -
Assasination of Abraham Lincoln
Five days after the Civil war Abraham Lincoln was assasinated. John Willks Booth was a famous actor in the1860's and also was the one to kill Lincoln. Lincoln did not die at the theater but in a few hours he died across from the theter. His assasination was the first in United Stsates History. A few days after his death Booth was caught and hung. -

During the Guilded age there was a lot of people in poverty. The poverty was not noticed beacuse some people were realy rich. Many people live in small windowless tenimants. Jobs were scarce becasue of new imagrants comeing. There was a lot of sicknesses because of people being so close together and the fith of cities. -

For 20 years chinese imagrents were not aloud into the contry. They were baned because they did more woek for less money. Everyone needed a job and it gave everyone a better place in the search for jobs. after the 20 years they could come to America again. -

Hitler dislked people of Jewih faith and eaither killed them of stuck them in constantration camps.Almost everyone in the world was fighting Hitler. If Hitler would have taken over cJewish faith would have been wiped out completely. -

It was a time where African Americans gathered to show all the challenges they have faced. They wanted to have the same rights for all diffrent races. That changed today because everyone now has egual rights. Not everone treates everyone the same there will aways be racisim but we fixed that it is not everyone agiest a diffrent race. -
Apollo 11 Landed on the Moon
It was us ageist the Soviet Union in the race for the stars. The famous first words on the moon’s surface is “One step for man and a leap for mankind” Said by Neil Armstrong. The trip had three crew members on board. If we wouldn’t have won the space race we wouldn’t have a huge program like NASA that sends ships into space to explore. -

September 11th Terroist Attack
The Twin Towers war attacked and fell on September 11, 2001. Out nation didn't have homeland security then like we do now. September 11th caused Homeland security to be invented. It has impacted us because of all the deaths that it caused and how were responded and now respond to terrorist threats and actions.
