  • The Declaration of Independence

    The Declaration Of Independence was drafted between June 11, and June 28, 1776, by Thomas Jefferson. The Declaration announced that the thirteen colonies were no longer colonies. They said that they were thirteen separate states. They declared freedom from Great Britian. This event was very important for U.S history because it made the colonies at the time have freedom from Britian.

    Lewis and Clark Expedition

    The Lewis and Clark Expedition was the first journey to explore America. They discovered many new plants, animals, and tribes. During their journey, they met a woman named Sacagawea. Her and her baby brought peace. This expedition really developed America, it let people know what was out there.

    In early 1848, the findings of gold in Sacramento Valley started the gold rush. People say that it was one of the most significant events that shaped American history during the 19th century. Thousands of people came over to California for the search of gold.

Northerners hoped this was not going to be how the Civil War was going to go. This was very impportant to U.S history, because it was the first battle before the American Civil War.

    The battle of Gettysburg was the largest battle fought in North America. The generals were Robert E. Lee (confederate), and George G. Meade( union). This event was very important for U.S history, becasue it was such a successful battle. The Union won, and it was the largest war.

    This act banned chinese immigrants. It banned them for 10 years. THe act started in 1882 and then extended it until 1892. The act was then made perminent by the extension act of 1904.

    The guilded age was a time period when most people were poor. In order for the people in poverty to get money, they had to work in very dangerous conditions. The worst part about this, is that they barely made any money for all their hard work. Very few Americans in this time were wealthy.

    The eruption of this volcano was getting signs of eruption since March. When it did happen, it made people very curious. Altough, it made a really big impact on America.The eruption killed 57 people. The eruption caused a lot of damage, which was making the government put out more money.
  • My Birthday

    I am 14 years old, and I am in 8th grade. I should be in High School, but my parents put me in kindergarden when I was six. I was born in Chester County, Pennsylvania. My family are very musically talented. My dad is a really good singer, my sister plays Cello, and I also love to sing, play guitar, and I used to play violin. On the other hand, my mom can't sing to save her life, and my little brother is only 5. We love music and our family, and we wouldn't be able to live without it.
