Chechnya resistance leader is killed in a Russian missile attack, shortly after the Russian President (Boris Yeltsin) and the Chechen President (Zemlikhan Yandarbiyev ) sign a peace agreement. it did not last long because in august Chechen fighters made an attack on Grozny. Yeltsin's Security Council secretary, General Aleksandr and Chechen rebel chief of staff, have to sign a cease-fire agreement.
