Romeo is depressed and not feeling like himself. Benvolio asked Romeo why he was feeling this way and it was because Rosaline rejected Romeo.

Romeo goes to the Capulet's party to find Rosaline, but instead he meets Juliet and they have an immediate love connection. They are both shocked when they figure out that they should be enemies.

Romeo and Juliet decide that they want to get married because they instantly love each other and cannot resist each other.

Romeo goes to visit Frair Lawrence to ask him to marry him to Juliet. He agreed because he wants the feud between the families to end

Romeo and Juliet go to Friar Lawrence's cell so that they can get married in secret.

Tybalt provokes a fight with Romeo in the street. Romeo refuses to fight him because of Juliet so Mercutio duels Tybalt. Once Mercutio is injured, Romeo steps in a kills Tybalt. As a result of killing him, the prince has banished Romeo from Verona.

When Friar Lawrence tells Romeo that he is being banished, he wishes that he would be killed because he will not be able to see Juliet. The Friar reassures him by explaining that one day Prince Escalus may let him back to Verona.

Lady Capulet goes to Juliet and tells her that she must marry Paris on Thursday. When Juliet refused her father was outraged. After this incident Juliet goes to Friar Lawrence's cell to get advice on what she should do.

Friar Lawrence gives Juliet a potion that will make her seem dead even though she will just be asleep. She scared to use it because she could wake up buried in the ground. The Friar promises Juliet that when she wakes up, Romeo will take her away.

The Capulet's move the wedding to Wednesday instead of Thursday. Juliet drinks the sleeping potion and the Capulets prepare for the wedding all night.

When Romeo finds out that Juliet is dead he gets poison and goes back to Verona to join Juliet in death.

Friar John explains to Friar Lawrence that he could not deliver the letter to Romeo about Juliet not actually being dead because he was sick with the plague.

Juliet is pronounced dead because of the Friar's potion. Instead of the wedding there has to be a funeral for Juliet.

When Romeo arrives at the Capulet tomb he finds Paris. Paris then figures out that Romeo was the one who killed Tybalt. They duel and Romeo kills Paris. After battling, Romeo drinks the poison to be in heaven with Juliet. Once Juliet wakes up and finds Romeo and Paris dead she kills herself with Romeo's dagger. When both families arrive at the tomb they eventually decide that their rivalry is over.
