Rodney King had multiple indictments, from a lot of different situations. Like in 1987, when he pleaded "No contest" and only recieved probation for beating his wife. Then, a litlle later got another conviction and was sentenced 2 years for robbing a clerk store.

The four officers involved with the beating, had filed 30 pretrial motions. They seen the video of Rodney, and immediately released him, they had been riots all over Los Angles from the people seeing what really happened with their own eyes. And i believe that the three officecers, Briseno, Wind, and koon did take a Plea bargin, which made them be able to get out on probation, after serving a few years in prison.

The federal jury convitcs Koon and Powell on one charge of violating King's civil rights. Wind and Briseno are found not guitly. No disturbances follow the verdict.

It was a total of 12 people part of this trial, They were all 10 whites, 1 Fillipian, and 1 hispanic.Six female, and 6 male. However, the jury declined to convict attempted murder charges, because they mention about the mobs that happened during the trial.
