    Made American colonist pay taxes. Caused colonist to tart the tax collectors. Made them pay to restore the money that was used for the war.

    Imposed series of taxes. Charles Townshend ideas. Raised prices/taxes for materials colonist needed.

    Started when British troops killed 5 colonists.
    Most significant to the revolutionary war.

    Compell a group a people named the sons of Liberty.
    Imposed no new taxes on the colonist.
    Held at the independence hall association.

    Pushed both Britain and colonist to war.
