When was it enacted: 1765 How did it affect the colonists? It forced the colonists to house there rival. How is this a cause that led to war?:The colonists rebels were infuriated and through that Britain was going overboard. But the loyalist were fine with the new act. This effected the war because the colones were being separated. -
Stamp Act 1765

It made it so that all paper products have additional taxes How is this a cause that led to war?: The colonists were growing more mad at the British in the constant of them not having a voice in there economy.This was also around the time the Sons of Liberty was founded. -
Boston Massacre 1770
Who: British and colonies Where: Boston When: 1770 What happened and why: The British killed five unarmed colonist. The colonist were raiding and then the red coats stopped them and a red coat got hit with a club and shot. Even though he was told not to shot. How is this a cause that led to war? The colonies were appalled that the best military would fire on unarmed group of people and were scared for them self. Paul Revere was the one who told the militia that the British were coming. -
Tea Act 1773
When was it enacted: 1773 How did it affect the colonists? In an effort to save the troubled enterprise, the British Parliament passed to grant company to ship right to the colonists. The colonists didn't want the British's tea and through the tea into the Boston harbor. Committee of Correspondence was the government during 1772 that wanted to do the tea party. How is this a cause that led to war?: The British lost a lot of money during the Boston Tea Party when they were already in debt. -
