    The French and Indian war was between Great Britain and France. They fought because both countries wanted more land so they fought for it. In the end, the war provided Great Britain gain in lots of land.

    At the end of the French and Indian war, the British created a boundary around their land called the proclamation line. This separated the British colonies and the American Indian lands.

    Colonists were required to pay a larger tax for sugar and molasses. This is because the wanted to stop the smuggling of sugar and molasses in different colonies.

    The Stamp Act is where the British raised taxes for every stamp purchased for any document. They did this to raise money for the British Army.

    The British Parliament would tax goods that were imported to the American Colonies. Some thought that this was an abuse of power.

    Tensions rose because American colonists didn't like all the taxes. Eventually a big riot was made and the British army got involved. The British shot some people killing them.

    One company had lots of tea leaves rotting in storage. The British Parliament passed the tea act. This allowed the company to ship their tea to colonies without having to stop at England and pay additional taxes.

    Colonists hated all of the taxes that they had to pay for everything that they bought. They decided to get big crates of tea and throw them into the ocean.

    This act was when the British Parliament passed laws after the Boston Tea Party. This was to punish the Massachusetts colonists for protesting against taxes.
