    The Olive Petition the final attempt the colonist had to avoid going to war with the British the colonist thought it would be better to talk through it instead of going into war but once they sent the letter the king refuse to look at it the king demanded that the letter be burn ,once the colonist found out about it they where aggrieved that they where trying to find another peaceful way to fix the problem but since the King didn't care they it was best to go into war .
