The Thirty Years War started when Fernidad ll wanted to force the citizens of the Holy Roman Empire into being Roman Catholic. Even though before they were given the freedom of religion. During this event the Protestant and the Catholic states fought for power of Europe, This was important because over time most of Europe's biggest powerhouses got involved in the war which caused many to fight in the very long war.

English Bill of rights
The English Bill of Rights was an act that was signed into the law by both William lll and Mary ll. They both became co-rulers in England. The act was for constitutional and civil rights and gave power over the monarchy. The English Bill of Rights was important because the bill created a separation of powers and limited the high power that the king and queen had. It made new laws that gave citizens more freedom.

War of the Austrian Succession
The War of the Austrian Succession happened because Frederick ll invaded the lands of Silesia which caused there to be a war that involved Bavaria, Spain, Saxony, and Prussia against Austria. Austria got most of their support from Britan which then added to the struggle Britan had with France. This event was important because it ended with a new treaty called the Treaty of Aix-La-Chapelle which finally ended the war.

Stamp Act
The Stamp Act caused all American colonists to have to pay a tax on every single paper that was printed for them. They would have to have a special British stamp in order for them to use them legally. The money gained by the taxations was used in order to pay for the American Frontier. American Revolution
The American Revolution started when some colonies from Britan won political independence from Britan and formed the 13 colonies. Britan still wasted control over the colonies that were formed. The United States of America was formed and wanted independence. France helped send troops to America to help fight Britan. Once there were too many American and French troops the British surrendered in YorkTown.

The Treaty of Paris happened because the British Surrened in the American Revolution. During this event, the United States of America was granted independence from Britan. This was important for the United States of America because they finally didn't have British ruling.

Tennis Court Oath
The Tennis Court Oath happened when the king would lock people out of the meetings, and thinking that they were locked out on purpose they decided to all meet on a tennis court. On that tennis court, they all took an oath that they would never leave each other unless a written constitution had been made for France. Storming of the Bastile
The Storming of the Bastile happened because it was a royal fortress that had imprisoned many political figures, and this was a sign of tyranny of the Bourbon monarchs. The Bastile was surrounded by many people that had weapons and soon led the Bastille to surrendred. Launay and many others were arrested and the prisoners were freed. Reign of Terror
The Reign of Terror happened when the Revolutionary government decided to cause terror to anyone suspected of being enemies of the revolution. Many executions happened at this time and most were for priests, nobles, and hoarders. During the terror, many people were arrested, executed, and left to die in prisons. This was an important event because it was made to protect the country from foreign invaders.
