    Suger Act
    The Suger Act was an indirect tax imposed on the colonist by Parliament with the purpose of raising revenue for England following the 7 Years War.   • Stamp Act

    Stamp Act
    The Stamp Act place a tax on newspapers, almanacs, pamphlets and legal documents of all kinds. The colonist assembled in the stamp act congress to voice their dissent for the act.     The purpose of the act was raise revenue for the british after the stamp act was repealed. The colonist reacted by boycotting the act voicing the opinion as they did in the stamp act.     Tea Act
    The act was supposed to convince the colonist to purchase company tea on which townshend duies were paid. The colonist responded, most noteably, with the boston tea party, where colonist swarmed ships loaded with tea and dumped the cargo into the harbor.     A series of acts passed by Parliament with the purpose of punishing the colonist for the boston tea party. Many colonist saw these acts as a violation of their natural rights and these act futher pushed the colonist in a direction of hate towards the English.
