    The Great Leap forward was an economic and social plan led by Mao to use China's immensely large population to turn China into a communist society. The Great Leap Forward was a horrible failure, causing Mao to lose his power.
  • Cultural Revolution

    After losing his power during the Great Leap Forward, Mao Zedong started The Cultural Revolution, and managed to return to power.
  • Khmer Rougue

    The Khmer Rouge was formed from North Vietman. Khmer rouge has a policy of social engineering, and its attempt at agricultural reform resulted in widespread famine.
  • Fall of Saigon

    The Fall of Saigon marked the end of the Vietnam War, and started the reunification of Vietnam into a communist state.
