Eye glasses were made by a Venetain eye glasses guide. The glasses were made out of crystal and only rich could use. Later, when the printing press was made people need to use eye glasses more to read. For example, if there's no eyeglasses for children they can't read the board or books properly.

    Printing Press
Johannes Gutenberg invents the printing press so that people don't have to spend time writing out books but instead just printing it out. It also made the cost of books in that time cheaper so that the poors could afford. I think printing press is a great invention because the idea of it made people to creat other inventions to print books be a lot easier instead of writing it down. Also if there's no printing press and poors can't afford then only the rich can read and will be a problem.
