I don't know who invented the compass, but it was invented so that sailors could sail without getting so lost. Compasses tell which way is north, south, east, or west.

Piano

One of the first pianos calledf the spinet was invent in 1411. I don't know who invetned it though.

Printing Press

The printing press came to be in 1436. Johannes Gutenberg, a goldsmith, was the person who invented this. It was made so that more people could read, or learn to read.

They were developed in the Netherlands between 1590 and 1608. There wad three different people who were given credit for this invention, they were Hans Lippershey, his son Zacharias, or Hans Janssen.
