The number of refugees that can be integrated in the small city of Kozani is at most 15 to 20 families. The reason why we can accept only that many is to be able to fully satisfy these families in matters: basic necessity, vocational rehabilitation, housing and education. -
THE KIND OF ENTREPRENEUSHIP THAT CAN BE DEVELOPED
For the professional rehabilitation of the refugees we can include them in the local shops of the area where they will live, such as bakeries, supermarkets, taverns or restaurants, they will even be able to work in agricultural companies as workers for whom the area is known (peaches and saffron).However, the local community of Kozani can organize bazaars and make their own donations that will be made for the better coexistence of refugees. -
THE WAY YOUR SCHOOL CAN HELP
In addition to the help of the state, our school can also help, which if you find in the place where the refugees will be hosted, make some registrations of refugees who will want to learn the culture and the Greek language so that they can communicate. Also, the refugees, in order to feel a member of the Greek society, we can invite them to a party, to respect their point of view and not to judge them for their choices. -
THE POTENTIAL BENEFITS FOR LOCAL COMMUNITY
The local community will be the first to benefit from the refugees in many areas. Jobs will increase as more people from other cultures try to start various small businesses. Finally, relatives of refugees from other countries will visit Greece, resulting in increased tourism.
