Our town,Kozani,can welcome 100 families of refugees because as we can see the small island of Tilos can support 12 families in proportion to its population.We understand that bigger communities, like Kozani,can take larger numbers of families. -

Refugees can stay in churches or in abandoned houses in the area of Kozani. Also,they can receive a modest allowance from the UNHCR and use it to stay in hotels. -
Food and clothes
The residents of Kozani can offer them some of their old clothes and donate some of their money to organize a mess hall to provide refugees with food. -
School assistance
School can provide refugees' children with the appropriate knowledge such as learn the greek languege.What is more, the students of Kozani could help them with their homework.Lastly, the school candeen can offer them a more economical lunch. -

Refugees can work in the agricultural sector and offer their manpower.They could also benefit the local economy by spending their money from the allowance on local shops. -
