Catherine of Aragon

Married first to Prince Arthur in 1501, then he died and she married his brother King Henry VIII on June 11th, 1509. They had a girl, named Mary. In 1526, her husband fell in love with another woman, and asked for annulment. Six years latter when the lady King Henry VIII had fallen in love with was pregnant, he took matters into his own hands and went to the Archbishop of Canterbury, who granted the annulment. Then on January 7th, 1536 she died, 3 years after her divorce with King Henry VIII.

As a child King Henry VIII was a care free young man. He had many duties as a child and at only the age of 2 he became constable of dover castle. His mother died at only age 11 and shortly after, his brother dies as well. After his brothers death all the royal duties transferred to Young King Henry

Anne Boleyn

Anne Boleyn was born between 1500-1509. She stayed in France in the Queens court for close to 8 years. She returned to England in 1521, and in 1526 she caugth the attention of King Henry VIII. On September 1st, 1532 she became the Marquess of Pembroke. Soon she got pregnant, so on January 25th, 1533, she and King Henry VIII were married. The baby which she carried was soon born, and was a girl which the named Elizabeth. On May 19th, 1536 she was executed for supposedly commiting adultry.

Jane Seymour

She was born sometime around 1508-1509. Within 24 hours of the beheading of Anne Boleyn, Jane and Kind Henry VIII were betrothed. On May 30th, 1536 they were formally married. In 1537 she gavebirth to the King's long waited son, and they called him Edward. Two weeks after, she died. She was buried on November 13th, 1537 in King Henry VIII's tomb in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. She was the only wife of his to be buried with him.

After the death of his father and with no older brothers to take the throne, King Henry VIII is announced the king and decideds to marry a woman by the name of Catherine.

Katherine Parr

Katherine Parr was born sometime around 1512. She was married twice before she married the King, but both her husbands died. On July 12th, 1543 she married King Henry VIII. On January 28th, 1547 King Henry VIII passed away and she was widowed again. She secretly married Thomas Bolyn soon afterwards, and soon gave birth to a child on August 30th, 1548. She was called Mary, and soon afterwards on September 5th Katherine died from puerperal fever.

Anne of Cleves

Anne of Cleveswas born on September 15th, 1515. She was married to King Henry VIII on January 6th, 1540, although it was just to make an alliance through marriage, not because of true love. However, King Henry VIII was not attracted to her and in July of 1540 they had their marriage annulmented. She took the titile of the King's sister and was given property, including Hever Castle, that had belonged to another former wife, Anne Boleyn. On July 16th, 1557 Anne of Cleves passed away.

At the age of 19 she was a lady in waiting for Anne of Cleves, and many believe this is how King Henry VIII noticed her. She married him on July 28th, 1540, just sixteen days after King Henry VIII and Anne of Cleves were divorced. At the time she was 19 and he was 49. Soon, there began to be rumors of Kathryne flirting with other men, so in November of 1541 the Archbishop brought these matters to the King's attention. The King soon realized these and so on February 15th, 1542 she was beheaded.

King Henry VIII left the power of the Pope due to the fact that the Pope would not let Katherin of Aragon and King Henry divorce and allow him to marry Ann Bolyen. Most of England was in favor of this and in 1534 the Act of Supremacy was passed marking the day King Henry left the Holy Roman Church.
