    George Washington as Commander and Chief
    The picture shown here is George Washington being chosen to be commander and chief for the American militia. George Washington will go on to fight the British army and try to gain independence for the United States of America. He will eventually win the war and become the first president of the united states.

    James A. Garfield as Chief Executive
    During his short time as president James A. Garfield spent most of his time appointing cabinet members and federal jobs. James A. Garfield's party at the time was split between two factions and his appointments were made to appease both of these factions. Afterward President Garfield was planning to move along with his agenda of civil service reform as seen in the political cartoon above. This however was cut short by a assassin that was mad about not getting a political job from Garfield.

    William Harrison, though his presidency was brief, did make some accomplishments for his political party. As the image shown above William Henry Harrison was able to get his political party some popularity and become the Whigs party's first president. The saying on the wood cabin is a phrase the Whig party used to help Harrison become president.

    Abraham Lincoln in this photo is signing the Emancipation Proclamation into affect. This document would force all rebellious states during the civil war to give up there slaves. This would further push along Abraham Lincolns agenda of free slaves throughout the nation.     Theodore Roosevelt as a Economic Leader
    The image shown above is political cartoon of Theodore Roosevelt creating the Panama Canal. The Panama Canals budget had to be preplanned and costed several million of dollars. Roosevelt created a budget for the Panama Canal. The Canal was attempted before by a French company which ended up being bought by the U.S government for no more than $40 million dollars.

The Peace Corps main goal was to give a bigger understanding of Americans to foreign countries, help meet the need for trained workers in foreign countries, and bring a bigger understanding of foreign countries to Americans.

    George W. Bush as seen in the the picture is seen honoring the recipients of the Medal of Freedom. The Medal of Freedom is among the highest awards that can be given to you by the President of the U.S.A. The medal is built to help recognize Americans that bring about great achievement and success in their field (science, the arts, literature, etc). So the president is congratulating the 8 recipients for there contribution to America.

Saudi Arabia despite having a radically different government from the U.S.A it's one of Americas allies in the middle east and Barack Obama for the safety of the nation wants to keep relations with Saudi Arabia friendly.
