    Marconi designed a transmitter to receive a radio signal across the Atlantic Ocean. He set up a wireless receiver in Canada as it picked up a morse code from England. The code was sent into space and flew right into the Atlantic Ocean, and Marconi himself received a message at 12:30.

    Audion Tube
    Lee De Forest invented the Audion tube, a device that will allow to pick up communication. He tested his first broadcast in July 18, 1907 which eventually lead to his first achievement. He went through the process of connecting an amplifier in order to receive his first signal.

    WWJ was the first known radio news program to record news reports.The radio station was found by The Detroit News, and was granted a limited commercial license. WWJ first signed on the air under the call sign 8MK, its abbreviations referred to the location of the radio station and the call sign that was labeled under the license.

    KDKA has been known as the world's first commercially worldwide radio station. Since the start of their radio broadcast, it has been a global success. KDKA has also broadcasted a speech on European relief by Herbert Hoover on January 15, 1921.

    9XM broadcasted World War 1 gathering weather information on the ships that were sailing to the Great Lakes. Before this station was found, Professor Edward Bennett decided that the station record regular weather broadcasts. From December 4, 1916, their messages broke down into morse code.
