    Elizabeth is born to Henry VII and his second wife, Anne Boleyn at Greenwich palace. Elizabeths father was unhappy with her because he wanted a boy to eventually take over the throwne.

    Death of Mother

    Anne Boleyn is executed on charges of adultry which were false. This led to an unpleasnt childhood for Elizabeth for after this her father married several more women in hopes of one of them providing him with a son.
  • Jan 28, 1547

    Death of King Henry VIII

    After King Henrey VIII dies, his son takes over. The new King Edward VI is Elizabeths step brother. Since Edward was too young to run a country at the time, there were a great deal of debates over who would help rule, his uncle, Edward Seymour would become the Lord Protector of England until King Edward VI was old enough. Seymour eventually kidnaps the young King and is later executed for treason.

    King Edward VI dies

    After a prolonged illness, Edward dies and Elizabeths half sister, Mary, takes over the throwne.

    Elizabeth goes to prison

    The new Queen Mary thinks that Elizabeth will try and take over the thrown and is sent to the tower of London as a prisoner

    End of prison time for Elizabeth

    Elizabeth will finally be released after two years

    Queen Mary dies

    Half sister, Queen Mary, died and Elizabeth was now ready to take over

    Queen Elizabeth is crowned

    Elizabeth is the last in line to take over England and no one thinks she will be suited to rule because she's been living in the shadows her whole life. When she's queen the major issue is the unification of the Church of England with Catholics and Protestants. An issue the people often complained about was if she'll ever get married, which she does not. She is an independent women and didn't want the power to be taken away by a husband.

    She had two possible candidates for husbands. One was Robert Dudley, she met him in the tower of London and never agreed to marry him because he was of low status and would not be a suitable ruler. The other was the Duke of Alencon- Francis who wouldn't be a good ruler as well because he would interfere with politics
  • King Philip of Spain

    The Spanish King, Philip tries to take over England. Queen Elizabeth prooved to be just as good of a ruler than any man during this when England won
  • Death of a great Queen

    Queen Elizabeth died at Richmond Palace. During her lifetime she managed to take England from an impoverished country torn apart by religious squabbles to the most powerful and prosperous ccountries in the world. She was a great Queen and prooved everyone wrong. She was determined but not obsinate. She listened to advice from others and took it. She was beautiful and her behavior was flippant and frivolous. Her approach to politics was serious, conservative and cautious

    After her death and burial, son of queen Mary of Scotland took over. The new King was now James I
