  • Formalize trial system for collaborative planning and reflection

    Per IB literature, a formal system of collaborative planning and reflection must be implemented in every PYP school. This system will affect teacher planning time and will also be depend on elective scheduling.
  • Wrap up Unit 2 and reflect on unit.

    Each team will reflect on unit 2 and make any necessary changes.
  • Due Date: Prepare PYP Orientation Packets for Teachers

  • Due: Teacher and Parent PYP PPT presentations

    Due date for parent and teacher PPT presentations on the basic components of the PYP program. Incorporate materials provided by IBO.

  • Begin brainstorming for Year 2 units

    Faculty will collaborate to design additional units under the 6 transdisciplinary themes. These units will be added to the Programme of Inquiry.
