William "Buckles" Woodcock who worked with elephants in a circus tells about why the hook and the chain are not tools of inhuman treatment but just the tools used mostly for safety reasons. He also tells more about their life between perfomances and during them.

He worked in Californian circus already for three years and says that there are "well-cared-for and happy creatures" and animals living conditions are right according to the rules.

Though in her opinion animals shouldn't be taught human activities like riding bikes but should just shouw their natural abilities and beauty.
