    biggest reaction to social reform was against laissez-faire economics and how there was no regulations at all. The people who were in this movement were Robert M. La Follette(republican governor of wisconsin) , Susan B. Anthony, and the Muckrakers. There also was the Prohibition of alcohol. Progressives blamed ALCOHOL for everything bad that happened. National American Women's Sufferage Association is founded
