I'm a big Charger fan and watched this game just before moving up to Los Angeles later that day.....
It was the one where three two teams were in a 'must win' situation to get into the Super Bowl and the game went back and forth, resulting in a high score and lots of fun. I watched it with friends while trying to load the moving van and move up to L.A. Then it started raining and we wound up moving in heavy rain, arriving at our rental house in the middle of the night. The door was locked so broke in.
My Chargers beat Miami in Div. playoffs.

Canadian funnymen Bob and Doug McKenzie (Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas) come into the studios in Culver City and are interviewed by Dr. Demento. They are at first 'in character' and then later are interviewed out of character. Their hits are "Take Off" featuring Geddy Lee of "Rush,' http://youtu.be/8Jm4LoOaAWI with the key funny line from him of "Hey, $10 bucks is $10 bucks." In their honor, "Take Off" is #1 on the Funny Five this week. Thomas is less update than Moranis. He seems worried....
