  • Apr 10, 1368

    The Emperor

    Ming Tai Zu was crowned emperor. He is also the founder of the Ming dynasty and is known by the name Zhu Yuanzhang. The emperor set up six offices and a new institution of spies to strengthen imperial power. Tai Zu made a thick overhual of laws, making a well developed foundation of the Ming Dynasty throughout the timespan.

    The War of Jing Nan

    Zhu Rongwen came to the throne after his grandfather the emperor known as Ming Taizu. Zhu Rongwen took very much advice from some of his ministers such as the act of taking the nobility from some kings of kingdoms in and attempt to strengthen the central government. This action obviously angered some kings so King Zhu Di from the north started a civil war in Jing Nan. The civil war lasted until 1402. The capital, Nanjing, was overthrown by the Jing Nan army. But the emperor was gone.

    The Empire Dies

    The Chinese disinagrated the Mongol Empire. The Mongol Empire was a big enemy for the Chinese. The Chinese caused the Mongol government to think self-mindedly and cuase instabillity. Once the ruler then died the Mongol Empire disinagrated.

    Under Attack

    The government of China was attacked by the Wa La tribe of Mongolia. The Chinese did not end up the victors in this battle. They lost because of foolishness and stupidity.
  • Jan 1, 1459

    The Coop of Tumu

    The Wa La tribe succeeded in the defeat of the Ming Dynasty when the emperor Ying Zong let Wang Zhen lead 500,000 soldiers all by himself. What happened was the Wa La tribe led the Chinese into the Tumu fortress and then pretended to make peace with them. All the Chinese soldiers were confused including Wang Zhen, then the Wa La tribe killed most of the Chinese soldiers including Wang Zhen.

    The Battle

    China attacked Vietnam for the land and won. For the past 2000 years, China has battled with Vietnam while losing citizens and economic development. Vietnam has tried to get away from China into a new land. China has battled with Vietnam farmore than any other country in South East Asia because they are so similar in the cultures that they follow. It just so happens that this is the only battle of Vietnam and China in the time span of the Ming Dynasty.
  • The Last Emperor

    Zhu Youjian was crowned the Chongzhen Emperor. The Chongzhen Emperor was the sixteenth and final emperor of the Ming Dynasty. He reigned for sixteen years and two-hundred and six days. His prodecessor was Tianqi Emperor and he succeded Shunzhi Emperor. Chongzhen Emperor is just his era name, but his family name is Zhu Youjian, and his emperor name is Emperor Zhuang Lie Min. Chongzhen`s reign ended after hanging himself for killing his daughter.
  • Manchurians Attack

    Manchurian leader, Qing Tai Zu, crowned himself king. Then clash between Chinese practice of ancestor worship and Catholic doctrine lead to deportation of forien missionary. He is also the won who unified Manchurians.
  • The Qing Dynasty

    The Jurchen Aisin Gioro clan established the Qing Dynasty in China. The leader of the clan, Nurhachi, unifyed all of the clans in the North East China in the middle 1600`s. The united people of Manchu then pushed China out of Southern Manchuria. In sixteen-fourtyfour, the Ming capital in Bejing was attacked by a peasant revolt causing the emperor to commit suicide. The general then allowed a path to be opened for the Manchurian army to come in and create the Qing Dynasty.
