  • 1899 "The School and Society"

    Dewey published "The School and Society" pamphlet that promoted key concepts of educational reforms. His idea that students should be active and lead by interest and not obedience should motivate them.

    Co-Authored the book with his daughter Evelyn. This book celebrated progressive education where traditional subjects were learned naturally by play and in conjunction with projects.
