  • Concorde Crash in France

    Air France Flight 4590 was heading New York when it crashed into a hotel building near the airport. Investigators say that a DC-10 that took off earlier lost a piece of metal strip on the engine which then was on the middle of the runway. The Concorde drove over it while taking off and it hit the plane and the shock ruptured the fuel tank.

    This was when I was born.
  • Release of Xbox 360

    The release of the Xbox 360 was a huge game changer for Microsoft. It was a year older than its main competitor, the PlayStation 3, but still delivers the same performance. It was revamped in 2010 with the Xbox 360 Slim, which greatly improved the qualtiy of the gaming console. Lastly, the Xbox 360 E was the last hurrah in the Xbox 360 line of consoles, and left its legacy in the world.
  • First Day of Kindergarten

    It was the first day of school and it was such an exciting day for me. We got to learn so much from what we have previously.
  • First Piano Lesson

    This lesson really change my life as it got me into music and I'm still with music now.
  • Release of Apple iPhone

    Apple changed the world with its release of their first smartphone. It came with Apple's OS (which is now iOS). Before its launch about 7 out of 10 people knew about the iPhone before hand. Also, the stores that were to sell the iPhones had to have police officeres hired as guards so people didn't break in and steal them.
  • Release of Apple iPad

    The iPad was Apple's first crack at a tablet and it worked very well. As of January 2016 over 250 million iPads have been sold. It was very similar to the iPhone in that it ran the same software and could do everything the iPhone did but on a larger screen.
  • First Day of Band

    It was the first day of band in sixth grade and it was the day I chose to play trumpet. I still play trumpet in band in high school and I still love it.
  • Release of the Pebble smartwatch

    Pebble Technology Corporation released the first smartwatch. They said it would be way more useful to just look at your wrist to check notification rather than having to pull out your phone to check your notifications. It has become very successful, as of December of 2014, they've sold over a million smartwatches.
  • First day of Marching Band

    Marching band is one of my favorite things in the world. I played trumpet during my freshman and now this year, I march snare in the drumline sophomore year.
  • Sail of Tesla Model X

    The Tesla Model X was unveiled as Tesla's first SUV. It is the greenest SUV in the world and has a range of about 250 miles. It is a big step for Tesla as the world wants bigger vehicles like SUV's. They feel like the Model X can really make big profits for Tesla.
  • DCI World Championships

    Drum Corps International Championships was one of the greatest expirences I've ever had. The corps have amazing performers and they perform awesome shows.
  • SpaceX Rocket Explosion

    A SpaceX rocket carrying a Facebook satellite exploded. The cause for the explosion is unkown but the satellite that was destroyed was supposed to deliver satelite internet services to the people of Africa, the Middle East, as well as Europe. Both companies are making sure that those criteria are met with or without the satellite.
