The Lieutant believes he has picked up on radar a flight of U.S. B-17 Flying Fortress bombers that were going from Ca. to Hi. He can't tell this to the radar operators for security reasons.

Ramsey tells the telegraph operators to send out an uncoded message to every ship and base that there is an Air Raid on Pearl Harbor and it's not a drill. Most of the U.S. planes have been parked in rows so they are easy to guard. Most of them are destroyed.
