  • Emily turns 12

    Emily asks to return to this day before she returns to the dead. She eventually grows fond of the memory.

  • Evening in act I

    After school, George and Emily have an early 1900's flirt session through their bedroom windows.

  • First scene of act I

    It's early morning in Grover's Corner as the audience is welcomed by the stage manager who gives them the rundown of where we're at in the story.

  • Mr. Morgans Drugstore

    George and Emily find eachother at Mr. Morgans drugstore in town. They have a light conversation that quickly turns into an in-depth chat about their futures.

  • George and Emily's wedding

    It's the day that the two main characters are getting married! They both get cold feet and the play shows how not ready and immature the two were. The wedding did however still go on.

  • Beginning of act III

    Mrs. Gibbs, Simon Stimson, Mrs. Soames, and Wally Webb (all who have died in between acts II and III) are all in the graves on the top of the hill.
