When the pioneers headed out they didn't know what to expect to see on the trail.

On the trail the pioneers came into rain storms and sometimes got struck by lighting. An when this happened the animals got spoked and ran off.

On the trail pioneers had a lot of native americans come up to them. The native tribes made the wagon trains pay tolls by trading.

When ever meal times came around the food was terrible. It had maggots and bad bacteria in it that it was uneatable.

When the wagon trains had to cross the rivers a lot of them didn't make it across. About 900 people sank because they didn't know how to swim.

When the pioneers were running low on supplies they stopped at fort Lamamie. They also stopped here to rest.

A lot of the trains had to cross the deserts. When this happened there wasn't any food or water for the animals and they died.

In the final day of the trip you have to cross the rockies mountians and you have to get there before winter or you won't make it.

When you finally make it to Organ you have to build a houes and start working.
