Also known as The Dirty 30's the Dust Bowl started when soil got too weak, and got blown away by wind. This was during the Great Depression with many people going hungry. Then wind started blowing away the dust under the soil. Shortly after a drought came. People then started dryland farming to help. Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, New mexico, and Texas were all effected.
