    Struggles on the Ship
    The first day on the Mayflower was like no other. Already peopple have going sick with many different illnesses. Particualy one guy with a very mean and nasty attidue got sick and was thrown overboard. "But it pleased God before they came half seas over" (Bradford 29)
  • The Ship is Falling Apart!

    The Ship is Falling Apart!
    Bradford is sufforing from many hardships and now that the beam on the boat is about to break he needs to find a way to save it so the ship doesn't fall apart. Bradford came up with the idea to not overpress the sails with to much wind until he found a screw to fill back into its place. "So they committed themselves to the will of God and resolved to proced." (Bradford 30)

    If we don't have enough trouble already John Howland just got thrown from one side of the boat to the other! He got thrown overboard but luckily John he caught ahold of a rope qand was hauled up. "But it pleased God that he caught hold of the topsail hayards." (Bradford 30)

    All Tangled Up
    the ship was heading into the Hudson River when it got tangled up but because they believed in God his good providence got them safley to Cape Harbor. "Blessed the God of Heaven who brought them over the vast and furious ocean." (Brandford 30)
  • We Need Help!

    We Need Help!
    It is becoming colder and many people are being sick and dieing from diseases. Many died two or three a day. People tried taking care of them by making them food and trying to start fires but sometimes that njust was not good enough and many people died. "And yet the Lord so unhelp these persons as in this general calamity they were not at all infected either with sickness or lameness." (Bradford 32)
