    Ship-wrecker
There was this very nasty man on board of the ship. He would always be bossing people around and telling them what to do. "He would always be condemning the poor people in their sickness and cursing them daily with grevious execrations" (Bradford 29). What goes around comes around, and eventually he was thrown overboard and the people on the ship went on with their day as if nothing happened.

They enjoyed the weather for the season of Fall, but it went downhill as the Winter came in. They encountered many storms that sent them back on the voyage. "...they were encountered many times with crosswinds and met with many fierce storms with which the ship was shroudly shaken, and her upper works made very leaky; and one of the main beams in the midship was bowed and cracked." They were frightened that they may not be able to set voyage. Luckily, a metal screw buckled the main beam.
  • Man Overboard

    Man Overboard
After they fixed the ship, they set sail. Although, the storms still did not go away and were back from more, which lead to a man falling off. "...thrown into sea; but it pleased God that he caught hold of the topsail halyards". His name was John Howland, and the crew was able to bring him in. He lived many years after and became a church member with wealth.

    Land Arrival
After a long 2 month journey through wicked winds and storms, they finally made it to land, and they thanked one person for this accomplishment. "Being thus arrived in a good harbor, and borught safe to land, they fell upon their knees and blessed the God of Heaven who had brought them over the vast and furious ocean".
