    While on thier trip thier was a man was bullying the rest of the men on the ship. But the guy who was being a bully to the rest of everyone got sick and they thanked God for it. William wrote “But it pleased God before they came half seas over, to smite this young man with a grievous disease, of which he died in a desperate manner, and so was himself the first that was thrown overboard." They were very happy that God made him sick and that he died.

    As they are on thier trip, the ship starts to break. They have no clue what to do. The find this big spike that fixes the ship. They do nothing but thank God for them fixing the ship. He says “And as for the decks and upper works, they would caulk them as well as they could, and though with the working of the ship they would not long keep staunch [watertight], yet there would otherwise be no great danger, if they did not overpress her with sails." They are very thankful for what God has done.

They than agian thank God for helping them out.     Many are getting sick on the boat. Many lose thier lives because of it. But some stay alive and do not die. those alivew are very thankful for not getting sick. They say that God wanted to keep them on earth and let them live and get to the new world and explore it. It was wroten And yet the Lord so upheld these persons as in this general calamity they were not at all infected either with sickness or lameness”

    They had trouble making friends with the people of the new land. They met Squanto a man of the new world that could speak english, They were so happy to have some one to help them. They thanked God for him and said, “…But Squanto continued with them and was their interpreter and was a special instrument sent of God for their good beyond their expectation. He directed them how to set their corn, where to take fish, and to procure other commodities, and was also their pilot [guide] to bring them"
