The Cyclops
Odysseus and his men get captured by the over-grown, one-eyed son of Poseidon. The arrange a plan to escape by getting the cyclops drunk and stabbing him in the eye with a large stake and running out under sheep skins. -
Circe, good Witch?
The crew open the bag of unforgivable winds behind Odysseu's back which results in the ship getting whisked all the way back landing on Aeaea, home of Circe. -
Land of the dead..
Here, Odysseus sacrifices his best lamb to get a fortune from Hades, god of the underworld. Here in the underworld he sees his friend who dided in the Cyclops' cave and his mother who took her own life because of Odysseus' absence. -
The Sirens
Then these women with beautiful and suductful singing voices attempt to hipnotize the men of the ship and Odysseus' curiousness got him into trouble again so his men tied him to the ship so he could not follow these sirens. -
Scylla
Right after the Sirens, the men came acroos Scylla, a female Six headed monster, who with out warning snatched six of the best men in the ship and feasted. -
Charybdis
Directly beside the six headed monster lay the most threatening whirlpool of rage any of the men couldve imagined, Charybdis. -
King Alcinous
Odysseus is welcomed by King Alcinous who throws a huge banquet in his honor. Then later that night Odysseus begins to tell the King about who he is and teh obstacles he has over came. -
Telling his story
Odysseus begins to tell the King of all the monsters and God/Goddess. Odysseus relates to the King.
