1970'sFocused on Philadelphia soul and other soul artists. Sounderling Broadcasting owned the station during this period and in 1979 Sounderling merged with Viacom.
1982Began playing gospel music in the evenings and gospel programming on Sunday’s. In the fall of 1982 WWRL switched to gospel music full time.
