    *Danes destroy their own naval fleet, so that the Germans couldn't take over their ships.

    On Kristi's birthday, their were explosions in the southeast, and her mother called them fireworks so that she wouldn't be scared.

  • Jewish Businesses Closing

    *Jewish businesses are getting shut down by German soldiers, such as Mrs.Hirsch's button shop.

    *Back in the war times, a way that the soldiers tortured the Jews was closing their businesses so that they would suffer.

    *Jews had to be hidden, because they would be relocated if the soldiers found them. They were often times hidden in secret rooms, until they could flee to safety.

    * Many Jews gather at uncle Henrik's house so that they can flee to Poland, but disguised it as a funeral so Nazis wouldn't knnow what was going on.

    BOOK EVENT
    *Annemarie has to deliver the important package to her uncle, otherwise the Jews will be in very VERY big danger, though she doesn't know what is inside of it.
    *She gets stopped by Nazis, who are very suspicious of what is inside the packagge
    *She makes it passed the Nazis, and finds out that inside the package was a hankee. Not just an ordinary hankee, one that had a drug that would take away the nazi dogs smelling, so that they couldn't smell the Jews onboard.
