The tarrif of 1828 was when a protective tariff begin. The purpose was to protect the Northern manufactures. As well as western agriculture. It was protecting them from other forgien goods. This left southners poor, due to the increase in goods. -

The tarrif of 1832 was passed by Jackson/ congress. This tarrif let down the tarrif of 1828, but it wasnt good enough to please South Carolinians. The purpose of it was to get rid of the 1828 tarrif, and fix the issues brought up due to 1828 tariffs. -

In 1833 Clays tarrif bill was passed. The purpose of this was to protect the vuale of goods. The tarrif was made to reduce vuale in the goods taht were 20% excess, it would be reduced yearly. Its effects were ending the Nullification, and reducing vaule. -
