Aeolus was the king of Aeolia and he was able to control wind. He gave Odysseus a bag of wind. He gives Odysseus and his crew a special kind of wind to get home. His men think that the bag is full of silver and gold. Odysseus learned to never let his crew think of something when they are in need of getting home.
