Thomas Kuhn July 18, 1922 – June 17, 1996

  • The Copernican Revolution

This was a writing about the solar system and how it was so widely agreed upon that it left no room for any kind of new ideas. The widely agreed on theory is similar to universalism norm of science explained by the scientist Mertonian.
  • The Structure of Scientific Revolutions

This writing of Kuhn's was the argument that not all science was compound science. This means that there were some new sciences created along the way and they then created a new paradigm for new sciences. Then the new sciences drew questions of the old science relating to falsifiability. This helped improve new processes.
  • Paradigm

This was groundbreaking in the science field as it was a new theory that was created by Kuhn that is widely accepted. The paradigm is basically a ground work for an object or research of anything. A model in other words. This was ground breaking and is now an award given out to scientist all over the world.
  • incommensurable

Most of Kuhns key moments came in his writing The Structure of Scientific Revolutions. Another key aspect is the word incommensurable. This term means that two objects differ so much that they have no basis to be compared. This was Kuhn saying that no research can be picked over the other as more important if they cant be correlated to one another.
