  • Getting to concentration camps

    packed at least one hundred people in one small, packed frieght car for several days

    • one off the car, they were to be put into an evaluation that would say if you lived to work or killed immediantly
    • seperated from families

    • stripped of their clothes and had their heads shaved
    • disinfected
    • under cruel evaluation

  • Living Conditions

    • horrible because of no amiable shelter for a large amount of people
    • diseases were spread throughout the camps

  • working conditions

    • often dangerous and harmful mentally and physically
    • most jobs could easily cause death

  • beginning of camp life

    • many people went crazy
    • many deaths
    • people lost hope -starving and dying

  • death march

    • an attempt to rebel and be set free
    • resulted into many deaths and nothing changed about their freedom

  • August 15, 1945

    Japan formally surrenders and WW2 is over.
