The Wiesel's hometown. Elie doesn't know much about his religion. Moshe was his mentor and improved Elie's knowledge in Judaism. Moshe got expelled from Sighet but came back to warn everyone. But no one listened. -

They were transported to Birkenau. They got split up and were sent to Birkenau to work. Elie’s mom and sister didn’t make it. -
Sighet
The Germans came like Moshe said.They leaders of the town got arrested. The people were forced to leave their house and live in the ghettos and couldn't own any goods. They had to wear the star of David. The people also had a curfew. -
Auschwitz
A lot of bad things happened, like the death of a worker. Elie thought of killing himself but was saved by the thought of his father. -
Buna
He moved to Buna to work. He gets a check up and is told he will get his gold cap taken away. He also gets a brutal beating from a prisoner. -
Buchenwald
They were tired from the long walk. He and his father get separated but meet the next day. Elie's father gets really sick and is sent to the crematory. -
Liberated
Elie is glad that his father is free. Elie later gets liberated from American Troops. -
Gliewiz
The death march began. They stopped in a village where a friend died. They had to walk to a new place.
