  • The Train Ride

    After spending the night at a synagogue. The wiesel family was put on a train to Auschwitz.

  • Finally Arrived

    Finally arriving to Auschwitz. Elie and his father were seperated from the rest of their family. Being the last time he ever sees his mother and younger sister.

  • Sent to Buna

    After being at Auschwitz for some time Elie and his father were sent to Buna

  • The hangings

    Elie now witnisses many hangings, one including a young pipel making Elie question his god.

  • Surgery

    To start the year off Elie needs surgery on his foot.

  • Evacuate

    Just after having surgery on his foot. Elie has to be now evacuated to Gleiwitz.

  • 80 miles to death

    After 80 miles of marching. Elie finally gets to Gleiwitz. Now after not have food or water for 3 days.

  • To Buchenwald

    The prisoners were now sent to Buchenwald. The trip taking almost 10 days.

  • Father Finally Gone

    After staying with his father for so long. Elie's father dies from dysentery. The S.S. sending his father to the crematory.

  • Freedom

    After so long Elie and other jews were finally liberated by american troops.
