The Start of Nick's Career
Nick was first discovered at the age of six in a barber shop while his mother was getting her hair cut. He then went on to perform in several musicals on Broadway such as: A Christmas Carol and The Sound of Music. -
Nick's First Song
Nick and his father recorded "Joy to the World" together and INO Records heard the song and released it to the Christian radio and it quickly beacme popular. -
Getting Signed to a Record Label
INO Records and Colombia Records both signed him. He then released another single and made an album which his brothers helped write songs for. However, it only had a limited release. -
Jonas Brothers
After hearing all of the brothers perform the songs on Nick's album, Colombia decided to sign them as a group. Their first album was released August 8, 2006, but that was a limited release and the band was later dropped from Colombia Records. -

The brothers began appearing in commercials and they released their self titled album which reached number 5 on the Billboard charts in the first week. -
Disney
Nick and his brothers starred on an episode of Hannah Montana on Disney Channel and it hit a record of 10.7 million views. -

The Jonas Brothers eventually got a show with Disney Channel that followed them around on tour. They also starred in a Disney Channal movie. -
