Nick Jonas was born September 16, 1992. He loved singing from the start!

Nick was first discovered at the age of six in a barber shop while his mother was getting her hair cut. He then went on to perform in several musicals on Broadway such as: A Christmas Carol and The Sound of Music.

Nick and his father recorded "Joy to the World" together and INO Records heard the song and released it to the Christian radio and it quickly beacme popular.

INO Records and Colombia Records both signed him. He then released another single and made an album which his brothers helped write songs for. However, it only had a limited release.

After hearing all of the brothers perform the songs on Nick's album, Colombia decided to sign them as a group. Their first album was released August 8, 2006, but that was a limited release and the band was later dropped from Colombia Records.

The brothers began appearing in commercials and they released their self titled album which reached number 5 on the Billboard charts in the first week.

Nick and his brothers starred on an episode of Hannah Montana on Disney Channel and it hit a record of 10.7 million views.

The Jonas Brothers eventually got a show with Disney Channel that followed them around on tour. They also starred in a Disney Channal movie.
